Straw Pellet Mill Introduction

A straw pellet mill, also known as a straw crusher, is a biomass pellet fuel forming machine that uses agricultural waste such as corn stalks, cotton stalks, soybean stalks, rice stalks, wheat stalks, sawdust, wood powder, wood chips, rice husks, peanut shells, and peanut husks as raw materials. The pellets produced by a straw pellet mill can be used in fireplaces, boilers, gasifiers, and biomass power plants. Straw pellet mills are divided into flat die straw pellet mills and ring die straw pellet mills.

Straw feed pellet mills incorporate the best features of domestic and international pellet mills and are energy-saving new products. In the past, feed was generally processed into powder before feeding, which had drawbacks such as inconvenience in feeding, poor palatability, selective feeding by livestock, and low utilization rate. With the advent and popularization of new small-scale pellet feed machinery, it is now possible to easily process powdered feed into pellet feed. Powered by ambient electricity, pellets are extruded through die holes under the pressure of rollers. Pellet length can be easily adjusted. Its simple structure, small footprint, and low noise make it suitable for small-scale farmers lacking three-phase power.

Equipment Performance
- High Capacity, Low Price, Low Power Consumption: The XY-30 model has a capacity of 300-500 kg per hour, using only an 11 kW motor.
- Strong Material Adaptability: Adaptable to the molding of various biomass raw materials, from straw powder to 50mm in length, with a moisture content between 5-30%.
- Electric Heating Function: Fully automatic electric heating device that adjusts the moisture content of the material, solving the problems of clogging and incomplete pelleting.
- Automatic Pressure Roller Adjustment Function: Utilizing the principle of bidirectional rotation of the thrust bearing, the pressure angle is automatically adjusted to prevent material clumping and machine blockage, ensuring stable pellet output.
- Simple and convenient operation: High degree of automation, requiring only 3 people; manual feeding or automatic feeding via conveyor is possible.
- Process flow: Crushing – Conveying – Molding – Finished product warehousing.
